I have been making this recipe for years and it is still a family favorite!
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 tsp chopped garlic
1/2 medium small onion chopped
14.5 Italian style diced tomatoes, mostly drained
1 8 oz tomato sauce
1 8 oz sliced mushrooms, drained
2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
10.5 oz can cream mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
8 oz. angel hair spaghetti, cooked and drained
Brown ground beef, garlic and onion. Drain.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and mushrooms.
Add oregano, salt and garlic powder. Simmer and cook out most of liquid.
Place 1/2 of meat mixture in 9 x 12 casserole dish, evenly spread 1/2 of cooked spaghetti over meat, add 1/2 of shredded cheese. Repeat.
Mix soup and milk, pour over top. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 20 minutes.
Take off foil and bake for another 20 minutes or until heated through.
